Men & Women’s Basketball
TCU Men’s basketball recently fell short after a close home matchup against #10 ranked Houston (79-70). We move to 8-5 in the season and hope to bounce back our Sunday matchup against Colorado in Boulder.
Our Women’s Team has moved to #12 in the nation after recently facing their second loss of the season in a close match against #14 ranked Ohio State in the Coretta Scott King Classic. The Women’s Basketball team is heading to Lubbock, Texas this weekend to faceoff against #21 ranked Texas Tech on Sunday. They return home Wednesday for a game verse Houston and look to continue their 38 game home winning streak! With only two losses in the season, our Women’s Basketball team is well poised to be competitive in both the Big 12 and March Madness tournaments. The team has made an incredible turnaround under third year head coach Mark Campbell.
Baseball Season Approaching
TCU Baseball is soon approaching and our Horned Frogs will open the season ranked at #10 in the D1 Preseason Poll! Our Horned Frogs will enter the season swinging by competing against Vanderbilt on February 13th. Local Horned Frog fans can catch this exciting “Shriners Children’s College Showdown” live at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The Horned Frogs will also face off against Arkansas that Valentine’s Saturday and against Oklahoma on Sunday, February 15th.
