Welcome to the Horned Frog Family!
Congratulations to your student for being selected as a member of the newest incoming class at TCU! We know you are very proud of their outstanding accomplishment. What an exciting time it is in the life of your family! Whether your first or fifth student is attending college/TCU, it is the first time for THIS son or daughter.
We know there are many things on your mind! We will continue to add to this page with everything you need to know, and we will include answers to the most frequently asked questions. First things first. If your student has been accepted to TCU and knows they will be here in the fall- the first thing to do is pay the enrollment deposit. The $500 nonrefundable enrollment deposit lets TCU know your student is officially a Horned Frog!
Orientation is TCU’s next step for incoming students. This program is where incoming students will learn about campus resources and life as a TCU student with their Orientation Leaders (OLs), while also being advised and registering for their fall classes. Many parents ask, “Should I go to Orientation?” The answer is a resounding, “Absolutely!” If you are able, your student will be happy you are here and so will we. Students can bring two family members/guests with them to Orientation. To see the Orientation schedule, please download the Guidebook App on your phone, select “find a guide,” and search for TCU First Year Experience. Note the schedules for summer orientation will not post until May.
A TCU tradition since 1993, Frog Camp provides incoming students with an opportunity to make new friends, experience TCU spirit, and learn what it takes to be a Horned Frog. TCU is preparing to host in-person Frog Camps this summer with sessions beginning mid-June. More details will be available at www.frogcamp.tcu.edu.
