Cornerstone Assistance Network’s Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to assist with collecting hygiene and food items for the clients we serve. Volunteers will collect items on their own time and then deliver to our office at a mutually agreed upon day and time. TCU is proud to partner with Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC). DARCC’s next round of the Sexual Assault Training Program (SATP) stars February 24 – March 13. The training is a total of 40 hours, will be virtual (via Zoom), and is required by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for anyone who is interested in volunteering for agencies that work directly with sexual assault survivors. Our volunteers can assist survivors by answering calls from our 24/7 crisis hotline, accompanying survivors during a sexual assault forensic exam, and by providing legal advocacy (e.g., court accompaniment, accompaniment to law enforcement agencies for initial reports/interviews) for survivors.
