Animals & Environment

Make a difference in their lives. And yours. HSNT depends on compassionate volunteers to help pets in need. When you give your time, you help provide love, comfort, and second chances to animals waiting for their forever homes. Volunteering at HSNT is more than just service hours. It’s hands-on experience that matters. You’ll meet adoptable pets, and leave each day knowing you changed a life. Ways you can help with no special skills are required—just a love for animals and a willingness to help: foster a pet short-term while they wait for adoption, walk and socialize dogs, comfort and play with cats, support our adoption events, help with horses and livestock, and dog and cat socialization. Whether you’re helping a nervous dog feel safe or giving a cat the confidence to meet adopters, your time truly matters.
