If you anticipate needing an accommodation and would like to make a special request, please be sure to complete that section when registering for Orientation and/or Frog Camp.  Please do so, when possible, at least 10 business days before your scheduled session.

Orientation
Orientation provides incoming students an opportunity to learn the basics of academic life at TCU, register for classes, and hear about campus resources. Orientation is required for all incoming students and you have the option to bring two family members or guests along to experience our family/guest Orientation. Orientation will be a two-day, in-person experience on TCU’s campus.  Students are required to spend the night in the residence hall during the program.

Frog Camp
Frog Camp, a TCU tradition since 1993, provides incoming students an opportunity to experience TCU spirit and to make new connections with fellow incoming students, upper-division students, and faculty & staff. Frog Camp is an optional, in-person experience, but we highly recommend this experience to create those new connections before the academic year begins. You’ll be able to choose among several amazing environments where you’ll make new friends in a small group of new students. You’ll learn TCU traditions, discuss starting college and learn what it takes to be a Horned Frog. Frog Camps held in Texas are free of charge, and costs of other Frog Camps are listed with their descriptions on the Frog Camp web page. Don’t miss out on participating in one of the most talked about TCU traditions.

Frogs First
Frogs First is a series of welcome events that happens the first weekend at TCU in the fall. During these few days, new students engage a conversation with faculty and staff during the Common Reading program, students are connected to the campus community through interactive and social activities, and will receive resources that will allow them to be successful and fulfilled Horned Frogs. Frogs First will take place August 17-20, 2023, a schedule will be posted soon.
